Jimmy Nelson Davis, a 43-year-old man, was last seen on December 25, 1987, in Dunn, North Carolina. Davis, who had previous connections to South Carolina and Maryland, had a history of leaving home for extended periods but always kept in touch with his family. He was known to return for significant events, such as his mother's birthday, so his extended absence raised concerns.
