Joel López Hernández, 28, was last seen on October 28, 2021, after running from his home in Henderson, North Carolina. Joel, who suffers from schizophrenia, was reported missing shortly after, and a Silver Alert was issued. Despite several reported sightings along I-85 near Exit 220, including claims he was seen under a bridge and walking without shoes, searches by his family and authorities have yielded no results.
