In the late summer of 2012, in Catawba County, North Carolina, a sense of unease settled over the family of Kenneth Mohler, a 70-year-old man from Granite Falls. On the evening of August 17th, Kenneth, a maintenance employee at Gregory Wood Products in Newton, had been called in to repair a water line.
