On May 25, 2003, 19-month-old Acacia Patience Bishop was abducted from her great-grandparents' home in Salt Lake City, Utah, by her mentally ill grandmother, Kelley Jean Lodmell. This incident occurred during a supervised visit, but when Acacia’s great-grandmother left the room, Lodmell fled with the child.
