On July 7, 2007, 65-year-old Courtland Lee Mumford, a retired commercial airline pilot, vanished from Portland, Oregon. Known by his nickname 'Court,' he was an experienced aviator with an estimated 27,000 hours of flight experience. In excellent health, Mumford was an active individual who participated in triathlons.
