Thomas 'Tom' Branch McAdams, a 67-year-old male from Portland, Oregon, was last seen on Saturday, September 24, 2016. An avid and experienced hiker, he was believed to be heading out for a day hike in the Columbia River Gorge, a place with trails he had traversed innumerable times. McAdams was a retired burn nurse, having worked for 38 years at the Oregon Burn Center at Legacy Emanuel Hospital before retiring in January 2016.
