Robert Perry Bissell, aged 57, was last seen on July 12, 2010, when he left his home in Portland, Oregon, to go camping in the Roaring River Wilderness Area near Rock Lakes, southeast of Estacada. A seasoned hiker and outdoorsman, Bissell set up his campsite near Middle Rock Lake, leaving most of his gear behind except for his fishing rod and tackle, suggesting he planned a short excursion.
