David Charles Whitehair, a 17-year-old from Felton, Delaware, went missing on April 23, 2010, while out boating with his father in Delaware Bay. The two were last seen that evening around 5:00 p.m. The following day, on April 24, their 18-foot vessel was found overturned near Port Mahon. A large-scale search was conducted by the U.S. Coast Guard, local fire departments, and the Delaware State Police dive team, but initially, neither of the two was found.
