Menelek Brown, a 27-year-old U.S. Navy sailor, was last seen on October 15, 2010, in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, where he was stationed aboard the USS Hopper. His disappearance occurred during a deployment in the Arabian Sea, and after an extensive search, he was presumed to have fallen overboard. Despite Navy aircraft and ship searches, no trace of him was found, and he was officially declared dead.
