In the late winter of 1987, a cloud of uncertainty descended upon a family in Seneca, South Carolina, with the disappearance of Jimmy Dale Whitfield. The last confirmed sighting of the 29-year-old was on March 7th of that year. According to the account provided by his wife, Wanda Whitfield, Jimmy left their home on foot following a heated argument.
