Shane Jerome Govan, 23, disappeared from Cordova, South Carolina, on November 10, 2008. That evening, Shane was visiting friends at a residence on Citron Drive. He called his fiancée at 10:09 p.m., telling her that he would be returning home soon. Shortly afterward, a small gray Toyota truck was seen circling the area. Witnesses reported hearing an argument followed by several gunshots. One of the men was heard saying, "I should kill you," before more shots rang out, and the truck sped away.
