Colby Stephenson, a 16-year-old from Blue Springs, Missouri, was tragically shot and killed on December 18, 2017. The incident occurred as Colby was leaving a house party. According to reports, he was shot in the front yard of a home located in the 1700 block of N.W. 6th Street. The scene was described by his mother, Michelle Stephenson, as resembling a video game due to the number of shots fired. Investigators recovered 37 spent shell casings from the crime scene.
