In the early morning hours of October 11, 2014, the tranquil atmosphere of a Days Inn in Blue Springs, Missouri, was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Responding to a call of shots fired at the hotel located at 451 NW Jefferson Street, police discovered a grim scene.
