Monish Narayan Venkatesan, a 4-year-old boy from Chaska, Minnesota, was last seen on February 9, 2007. His disappearance was classified as a family abduction. Along with his sister, Prathima Venkatesan, Monish was taken by their non-custodial mother, Renukadevi Venkatesan. A felony warrant for Renukadevi’s arrest was issued on January 4, 2008, after the children went missing. It is believed that they may have been taken to India, although their exact whereabouts remain unknown.
Monish, born on May 20, 2002, is of Indian descent and was fluent in both English and Tamil at the time of his abduction. The authorities have kept the case open, but no significant developments have been reported. The Chaska Police Department continues to investigate, but over the years, Monish’s case has remained unresolved. Age-progression images have been released to assist in locating him as he grows older, but no definitive leads have surfaced.
