In the spring of 1974, a then 32-year-old U.S. Army Veteran named Howard W. Veillette Sr., also known to his loved ones as Howie, vanished. The exact location of his disappearance remains uncertain, with some sources indicating he was last seen in Honolulu, Hawaii, while others state he was in Shelton, Connecticut.
