Matthew Bergman, a 21-year-old Navy sailor, was last seen on July 26, 2011, while serving aboard the USS *Boxer*, an amphibious assault ship stationed out of San Diego, California. Bergman, who held the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class, was reported missing after he failed to show up for his scheduled watch while the ship was in the Gulf of Aden, off the coast of Oman.
