Patricia Elayne Action, a 25-year-old woman from Clearwater, Florida, disappeared on May 26, 1978, under suspicious circumstances. That evening, she was last seen leaving the Ramada Inn Lounge on U.S. 19 and State Route 60, where she had been having drinks with coworkers after receiving her paycheck. At around 11:30 p.m., Patricia told her friends she was going to the bathroom and took her purse with her. She never returned, and her family reported her missing the following day.
