Wayne W. Hickman, a 27-year-old man, was last seen on October 1, 1985, in Missoula, Montana. He was reportedly hitchhiking along Highway 93 with plans to travel to Superior, Montana, to inspect a pickup truck that was for sale. He never returned and has not been heard from since. Hickman was not reported missing until December 1985, which delayed any potential early investigation efforts.
