Noe Alvarado Guarchaj, a 43-year-old resident of Belfair, Washington, was found dead in Tahuya Forest on September 8, 2018. His death was ruled a homicide after investigators determined he had died from a gunshot wound. Alvarado was reported missing on September 6, 2018, after friends and family last saw him at church on September 2. His vehicle was discovered in the forest, with his body located within walking distance.
