Robert Coyle, 44, was last seen on August 1, 2010, after being dropped off at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) for a flight to Houston, Texas. He had told his family that he was meeting his girlfriend in Houston and intended to travel with her to Kurdistan to meet her family. His sister, who lived in San Francisco, reported him missing after failing to hear from him. Coyle had previously resided in Clearwater, Florida, before his disappearance.
