On 07/07/2014 the bicyclist was riding his bike on the sidewalk when he came upon the decedent walking on the sidewalk in the opposite direction. The bicyclist applied his front brakes, was propelled forward and struck his head against the decedent's head and the decedent fell back and struck his head on the street. Decedent was transported to a hospital where he remained until his death on 11/06/2014.
