James Howard Boyle, a 26-year-old man, went missing on February 5, 1983, while visiting the Marin Headlands, part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area in Marin County, California. On that day, Boyle and his girlfriend, Stacey Lee Lynch, were exploring the area when they are believed to have accidentally fallen from the cliffs into the Pacific Ocean.
