Owen Douglas Rascoe, a 26-year-old man from Menlo Park, California, was last seen on March 1, 1978. Rascoe was known for his deeply religious beliefs and was thought to have been involved with the Peoples Temple, a religious organization that gained notoriety due to the Jonestown tragedy. His disappearance has been shrouded in mystery ever since, with very few leads or details emerging over the years.

Rascoe's case is registered with various missing persons databases, including NamUs, and is still unresolved. At the time of his disappearance, Rascoe was described as an African American male, standing 5'5" tall and weighing approximately 125 pounds, with black hair. Given the circumstances of his connection to the Peoples Temple, some have speculated whether his disappearance might have been linked to the mass exodus and deaths associated with the organization later that year. However, no conclusive evidence has been found to confirm this theory, and his case remains unsolved.

Authorities continue to request any information from the public that could help resolve Rascoe's decades-old disappearance.
