Authorities suspect that John may have either jumped or fallen from the Golden Gate Bridge, but his body has never been recovered. Despite this theory, his case remains unresolved, and his disappearance is classified as "lost/injured missing." John is described as 6'4", weighing between 180-200 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He had a birthmark and discoloration on one of his shoulders at the time of his disappearance.
