John Janos Kapusi, a 46-year-old male, was last seen on January 1, 1993, in Mountain View, California. He was reported missing by a friend who had come from Switzerland to search for him on behalf of his family in Hungary. Prior to his disappearance, Kapusi had expressed concerns for his safety, mentioning in a phone call in 1996 that he feared for his life due to some business dealings and felt he might need to leave the country.
