Steven Albert Kojola, a 70-year-old man from Mountain View, California, was last seen on July 27, 2018. Known as an avid outdoorsman, he often traveled to the Mount Shasta area to go camping. After his neighbor last saw him preparing for what seemed to be a camping trip, Kojola disappeared. His vehicle was later found in a remote area of southern Trinity County, but despite extensive search efforts, including the discovery of an old campsite and some personal items, there was no sign of Steven
himself.
Authorities believe he may have been camping in the region at the time of his disappearance. The circumstances are not considered suspicious, and the case remains unsolved.
