Martrell A. Raggs, a 22-year-old from Chicago, was tragically shot and killed on February 17, 2012. The incident occurred on the West Side of Chicago, while Raggs was at his sister's home enjoying a warm February evening with family and friends. The shooting happened suddenly when Raggs, walking past the front door, answered a knock. A gloved hand holding a gun appeared as soon as he opened the door, and shots were fired.
