On July 22, 2017, Tayivon Roberson, an 18-year-old, was fatally shot in the Marquette Park neighborhood of Chicago. The incident occurred while Tayivon was standing with another individual in the 7100 block of South Artesian Avenue. During the shooting, one other person was seriously wounded.
