Raymond Jerz, 24, was shot and killed on February 11, 2012, in Chicago's Little Village neighborhood. The events leading up to his death began when Jerz and his friend, Shaun Jurgens, attended a party near 26th Street and Kedzie Avenue on the night of February 10th. During the party, tensions escalated, leading to a confrontation with a group associated with a local gang.
