Jeffrey Wayne Nelson, aged 46, was last seen on September 10, 2009, in Berwick, Louisiana. He disappeared following an incident in which police attempted to stop him for reckless driving along Highway 90 in Bayou Vista. Nelson resisted arrest and fled the scene on foot, leaving his truck behind at a nearby shipyard. Inside the truck, investigators found his eyeglasses and cellphone, but there was no trace of Nelson himself.
