John J. Hannemann, a 41-year-old man from Parsonsfield, Maine, was last seen on July 21, 2003. He lived alone in a small, camp-style home at 25 Victory Lane, which lacked both electricity and running water. On the morning of July 21, a neighbor saw Hannemann driving near his residence, marking the last confirmed sighting of him. Just three days later, on July 24, his home was destroyed by a fire.
