On August 31, 1975, four-year-old Kurt Newton disappeared while camping with his family at the Natanis Point Campground in the Chain of Ponds area near the Canadian border in Maine. That morning, Kurt was last seen riding his Big Wheel tricycle near the family's campsite, seemingly following the path his father had taken to gather firewood.
