Kurt Ronald Newton was four years old when he vanished during a family camping trip in Chain of Ponds Township, Maine, near the Canadian border in northern Franklin County. Official missing-person records identify him as a white male child with blond hair and blue eyes, missing from Chain of Ponds on August 31, 1975.
