Gary Thorbjornson, a 41-year-old fisherman from Port Clyde, Maine, went missing on July 13, 2005, when his fishing vessel, *Sirius*, sank in the area of Newfound Ground. Thorbjornson had been the captain of the vessel and was on board with two other crew members when the accident occurred. The two other men survived, but Gary was never seen exiting the vessel. His body was never recovered, and despite extensive searches, no further trace of him was found.
