In the winter of 2016, a young man named Ryan Wesley Aubol, aged 23, vanished from Portland, Oregon. On the morning of December 14th, he drove his Toyota Corolla to the Skamania County Sheriff's Office in Stevenson, Washington, in a state of disorientation, unable to recall his own identity. Law enforcement was able to identify him using the wallet he had with him and called for medical assistance. Paramedics arrived around noon, but while they were questioning him, Ryan fled on foot.
