Donald Butler

Missing

Donald Emmanuel Butler, age 59, was last seen on April 22, 1979, in Irwin, Idaho. Butler and his wife were driving west from town in their white 1968 Pontiac when the vehicle veered into the Snake River. The car was discovered six days later, submerged in the river approximately 400 yards upstream from the South Fork Lodge. Butler's wife was found deceased, still strapped inside the vehicle, but Donald Butler was missing and has never been located.
