On April 22, 1979, Donald Emmanuel Butler, a 59-year-old man, was last seen in Irwin, a small community in Bonneville County, Idaho. He and his wife were traveling together, heading west from Irwin when a tragic accident occurred. Their vehicle, a white 1968 Pontiac, veered off the road and plunged into the cold waters of the Snake River.
