On a summer day in August 2018, a family vacation took a tragic turn on the Delaware River near Mt. Bethel, Pennsylvania. Feng Ye, a 53-year-old man, was enjoying a canoe trip with his wife and son when the boat overturned. While his wife and son were rescued from the water, Mr. Ye disappeared, prompting an extensive search by multiple rescue organizations.
