Ray Gricar, the district attorney for Centre County, Pennsylvania, vanished on April 15, 2005, after telling his girlfriend he was going for a drive. Gricar, age 59 at the time, did not return home. His car, a Mini Cooper, was found abandoned the next day in a parking lot in Lewisburg, about 50 miles from his home in Bellefonte. Inside the vehicle, police found his cell phone, but there were no signs of Gricar.
