San Jose Police received a call from a female saying she saw a skull and bones behind the fence in an area bordering Moorpark Avenue and Richmond Avenue in San Jose. In this area, Moorpark Avenue borders Highway 280 and this is the access road to northbound Highway 280. The remains were found behind a chain-length fence that borders Moorpark Avenue near Richmond Avenue. Northbound Highway 280 runs parallel to Moorpark Avenue.
