On July 28, 2025, the body of Chun Wa Chong, a male individual, was discovered in Los Angeles, California. The discovery occurred after a welfare check was initiated by the property manager, who had grown concerned when the decedent had not been seen for approximately two weeks. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the request and gained entry to the locked apartment using a key provided by property management.
