John Crawford, a 35-year-old resident of St. Louis, Missouri, tragically lost his life on May 11, 2022, in a violent shooting incident. The shooting occurred in the 5000 block of North Kingshighway in the Mark Twain neighborhood of north St. Louis. According to reports, the incident took place around 5:30 p.m. when the vehicle carrying Crawford and other victims was blocked by two unknown vehicles. Several individuals exited one of the vehicles and opened fire on Crawford's vehicle.
