On March 27, 2025, 28-year-old Robert Lee was shot and killed in the Walnut Park West neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred at a residence in the 5600 block of Pamplin Place, where police were called shortly before 7:15 p.m. to respond to a domestic disturbance. Officers arriving at the scene found Lee suffering from gunshot wounds inside the home. Emergency medical services personnel responded, but Lee was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation revealed that the shooting stemmed from a domestic argument between Lee and a woman at the residence. As the altercation escalated, the woman’s 48-year-old father, who was also present, intervened. The father, armed with a firearm, shot Lee during the confrontation. When police arrived, the 48-year-old man met them outside, admitted to the shooting, and surrendered his weapon to the officers.
