In the early morning hours of a September day in St. Louis, Missouri, the life of Marcus Price, a 34-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short. On September 19, 2024, Price and his friend, 42-year-old Marshun White, were shot and killed while they were sitting outside their apartment building in the 1600 block of North Kingshighway Boulevard in the Kingsway East neighborhood.
The shooting occurred around 3:20 a.m., shattering the quiet of the night.
Emergency services were called to the scene, but both Price and White were pronounced dead from multiple gunshot wounds. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, in conjunction with the FBI, launched a homicide investigation into the double murder.
