A 75-year-old man, Francis R. Ahern, Jr., passed away peacefully on Friday, May 10th, 2024. Born on April 4th, 1949, in Hartford, he was the son of the late Francis R. Ahern, Sr. and Helen Ahern.

For the last five decades, he dedicated his life to serving the communities of Unionville and Hartford with a high level of dignity and care. His Catholic faith was a sustaining force in his life, and he was a lifelong parishioner and avid supporter of The Cathedral of Saint Joseph. He took parti ...
