In the early hours of May 17, 2017, the life of 23-year-old Bryant Carruth was tragically cut short in a violent home invasion in Dellwood, a community in north St. Louis County, Missouri. An African-American male, Carruth was at his residence on Trask Drive when the incident occurred around 1:35 a.m.

According to reports, the assailants, described as several men, forced their way into Carruth's home. During the ensuing events, Carruth was shot and killed. His wife was also present at the ...
