In the early hours of a spring morning in Springfield, Missouri, the life of 23-year-old Malik Sutton was tragically cut short. On May 14, 2022, at approximately 1:48 a.m., gunfire erupted in a parking lot located at 313 N. Boonville Ave., leaving a scene of violence that would claim two lives and injure another.
