On a summer evening in St. Louis, Missouri, the life of Corey Burgess, a 47-year-old male, was tragically cut short. On Thursday, August 18, 2022, in the Gravois Park neighborhood, Burgess and another man, 30-year-old Rory Brandon, were discovered with multiple gunshot wounds. The shooting occurred at the intersection of Minnesota Avenue and Winnebago Street, where police responded to a call shortly after 8:30 p.m.
