Death by Force

On September 23, 2022, Robert L. Mannie, a 57-year-old resident of St. Louis, Missouri, was found unresponsive with apparent gunshot wounds in the 900 block of William Street in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene. The Cape Girardeau Police Department quickly responded to the incident and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
