Shayla Lynae Curts, a 22-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, tragically passed away on December 6, 2022. Shayla was the victim of a violent crime, and her death has left a profound impact on her family and community. She was predeceased by her father, Kenny Berry, and at the time of her death, she was pregnant with her unborn daughter, Soleil. Shayla is survived by her two young children, Mars and Winter, her mother Dezirae, stepfather Angelo, sister Sydnee, and brothers Leo and Brenden.
