On the night of December 10, 2022, a violent incident unfolded in the Walnut Park West neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, prompting a police response to the 5900 block of Sherry Avenue. Officers arrived at the scene just before 1:00 a.m. to investigate reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds on the porch of a residence near Gregory Carter Park.
