Stephan Alexander Day, an 8-year-old boy from Evansville, Indiana, tragically lost his life on October 18, 1984. The incident occurred when his father, James Alan Day, an electrician with a history of domestic violence, shot and killed Stephan along with his five siblings before taking his own life. The children were found in their beds, each having been shot once in the head. James Day then sat in a living room chair and shot himself.
